Two Accor Hotels May Appear in Tyumen

International chain hotel operator managed hotels will come to Tyumen. The West Siberia pioneers will be Domina hotels & resorts and Accor.

A three star hotel for 170 rooms will be built under the Domina hotels & resorts brand. Accor is considering an opportunity to take under their control the two new 3 and 4 star hotels which will become parts of multifunctional complexes. Local hoteliers are implementing their own projects at the same time. For instance, the construction of hotels Eurasia and Remezov-hotel is near completion as well as the second train of the four-star Tyumen hotel.

The regional government informed RusBusinessNews that 15 billion roubles will be invested into the hotel market of the Tyumen Oblast in the next few years. For instance, interesting investment projects have been developed for the area near Tobolsk. Foreign and Russian businessmen are invited to become co-investors in the construction of the hotel complex Sibirskoye Podvorye of the total cost amounting to 260 million roubles.

There were more than 80 hotels, including 49 in the regional centre, in the Tyumen Oblast in the beginning of 2009. At the average price per room being 1.5-2 thousand roubles the occupancy rate of Tyumen hotels averages at 66%.
