Uralkali Enhances Business Management Responsiveness

The Uralkali JSC Board of Directors has elected the company's new Management Board. To enhance the management responsiveness the number of members has been halved and is only 6 now.

As the company told RusBusinessNews, Vladislav Baumgertner, the Director General of Uralkali JSC, was again appointed the Chairman of the Management Board. Other members of the management board are: Mikhail Antonov, the acting President of the company; Viktor Belyakov, a Deputy Director General - Chief Economics and Finance Officer; Sergei Dyakov, a Deputy Director General; Elena Samsonova, the Chief HR Officer; and Marina Shvetsova, the Chief Legal and Corporate Officer.

Uralkali JSC controls about 10% of the potassium chloride world market. Uralkali's key production facilities - 2 mines and 4 concentrating plants - are located in Berezniki (the Perm Krai). The company holds 100% of shares in CJSC Baltic Bulk Terminal in Saint-Petersburg.
