ZAO ChTPZ-KTS (a part of the Rimera oilfield service company) completed the order for more than 150 tons of non-standard branch pipes for the gas main Kazakhstan-China in record time. The branch pipes made of steel pipes of the X70 strength class can withhold pressure of up to 9.81 megapascals, RusBusinessNews was informed It took only a month from the moment the order had been placed with the manufactures to the moment when the branch pipes were shipped. All the pipes were manufactured by ZAO SOT, equipped with two state of the art pipe bending mills which ensured exact compliance with the customer's strict technical requirements.

The Kazakhstan-China gas main is a part of a large scale intercontinental project Asian Pipeline which will join the gas fields of Turkmenistan and Central Asia with China and South-East Asia. The length of the Kazakhstan part of the gas pipeline will be 1,300 kilometres.
