Eurocopter is Winning Battle for West Siberian Sky02.09.2009 — News THE TYUMEN OBLAST. The UTair Aviation carrier and Eurocopter are planning to open a Certified Russian Flight Officer Training Centre. Starting in 2010 pilots and service technicians will be trained for Eurocopter helicopters in Tyumen. UTair now has seven Eurocopter helicopters and has the status of the launch customer for the new Eurocopter model ЕС 175. The air carrier teld RusBusinessNews that according to the contract Eurocopter will supply 15 of these helicopters with an option for further 15 craft by 2012. The UTair management is certain that EC 175 will become the best transport for carrying personnel for oil and gas platforms. The Eurocopter Group is a global leader in helicopter manufacturing and related services. There are more than 2,800 customers in 140 countries using ten thousand of Eurocopter craft makes 30% of the world's total fleet of helicopters. |
