Czech Industry Minister M. Říman to Visit the Urals01.04.2009 — News UrFO. On 5 April 2009 a Czech delegation headed by Martin Říman, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic will arrive to the Urals. The delegation will also include the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in the RF Miroslav Kostelka, representatives of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance. During the four days trip the guests will visit the Chelyabinsk and the Sverdlovsk Oblasts, RusBusinessNews was informed by the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Ekaterinburg. The trip will start in Magnitogorsk where Viktor Khristenko, the Head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade will also arrive. High-ranking officials will be present at the signing of the contract with Alta, a Czech company, to deliver equipment for the OAO Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Combine. The Czech Export Bank (CEB) will establish a credit facility to finance the contract. The Czech delegation will start working in the Sverdlovsk Oblast on 7 April: the guests will hold the negotiations with the Governor of the region Eduard Rossel and the Head of Ekaterinburg Arkadiy Chernetskiy. The main event of the visit will be the Czech Presidency of the European Union presentation delivered by Mr. Říman. On 8 April the Czechs will visit industrial enterprises of Nizhniy Tagil - OAO NPK Uralvagonzavod and Uralchimplast. |
