Motovilicha Plants Will Reach European Level in Three Years

"Motovilicha plants" stock corporation, the largest machine building company in the Perm Krai, is now headed by Nikolai Bukhvalov. The former head of the regional government has a goal to increase the profitability of the company by 50% in three years time. 

The company informed RusBusinessNews that by the end of 2012 the turnover of "Motovilicha plants"  stock corporation should reach the 500 million dollars per year mark. The increase of today's production volumes by 7-8% will enable the company to achieve the average European level.  

In the beginning of 2010 the Board of Directors of "Motovilicha plants" stock corporation will review the Strategic Development Programme for the period of 3 to 5 Years. Machine building for the oil industry should become the growth driver for the nearest future. Amongst the priorities there also are the increase of the State defence contracts and export contracts through the modernisation of machinery made before. The Perm company is known in the global arms market by its Smerch multiple rocket launchers.
