NESTLE Will Make NESQUIKO Breakfast Packs in Perm

The NESTLE company has completed a large investment project in the Perm krai. In 2008 and 2009, about 1 billion rubles have been invested into the renovation of Perm "Cereal Partners" factory.

The new production line will manufacture 90% of NESTLE dry breakfast cereals in Russia and CIS countries. In particular, such high tech products as NESTLE®, FITNESSO and NESTLE® FITNESSO & FRUITS, previously imported to Russia from Poland, will now be made in Perm.

"Nestle Russia" told RusBusinessNews that NESTLE currently operates two enterprises in the Perm krai. The JSC "Kamskaya" has been purchased in 1998. At present, the OOO "Kamskaya" Confectionary Plant is the largest manufacturer of KIT KAT chocolate bars in Russia. In addition to that it manufactures chocolate with the brand name of RUSSIA-GENEROUS SOUL.

In 2001, "Cereal Partners Worldwide" company - a joint venture of NESTLE and American General Mills - acquired another Perm factory where it began to manufacture ready-made breakfast packs under the NESTLE trademark.
