Serbia’s NIS Testing Urals Pumps06.10.2009 — News THE SVERDLOVSK OBLAST. Rimera, a member of the oil services division of the ChTPZ Group, has shipped the first batch of electric centrifugal pump assemblies to the Serbian state-owned oil company NIS. They will replace deep-well sucker-rod pumps at the three test wells. The press service of the ChTPZ Group informed RusBusinessNews that the implementation of this project will give the company broad opportunities for the exploitation of the Serbian oil production equipment market. If the tests come to a positive conclusion the quantity of orders for pumps may grow several times. NIS - Naftna Industrija Srbije - is the Serbian state-owned oil company established in 1991. Since 25 January 2008 51% of shares of the company is owned by OJSC Gazprom Neft. 49% of shares is owned by the Serbian Government. NIS produced about a million tons of oil and 250 million cubic metres of gas in 2008. |
