Hyundai-Kia Examines Quality of Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Combine’s Rolled Metal

The South-Korean Company Hyundai-Kia has completed the next stage of acceptance of rolled sheet metal products at the OAO Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Combine. Foreign car and parts manufacturers have been examining the quality of processes at the combine since February 2008. Hyundai-Kia plans to launch a new production line near Saint Petersburg in the second half of the following year and is looking for a supplier of metal for body parts. The MMC has provided Hyundai-Kia with the full-size hot-rolled, cold-rolled, and hot dipped galvanized product samples for laboratory testing and for the trial production of parts. The Korean car manufacturers were satisfied with the quality of products of the OAO Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Combine, RusBusinessNews was informed by the MMC.
