The Perm Krai Authorities Will Spend 585 Million Roubles on Potato Production

It is planned to triple the potato production in the next four years in the Perm Krai - from 42.9 to 137.2 thousand tons. RusBusinessNews was informed by the regional Government that the Perm Potato programme will be taking part in the nationwide and regional projects competition for the additional financing from the Russian Federation budget. It is planned to allocate a total of 585 million roubles for the Perm Krai potato programme. The local potato crop yield will double and reach 30.22 tons/hectare in the next three years.
