Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz Will Not Cut Down Oil Production in 2009

OAO Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz is planning to keep oil production levels at 19 million tons in 2009. The main production company of the Gazprom Neft is betting on the active field development at the time of crisis. For instance, new horizontal wells are being put into operation at the Ety-Purovskoye field. A new well with the daily yield of 200 tons of oil has been put into operation in the beginning of April; another one will start producing in May. The total pool of the Ety-Purovskoye field is over 100 wells currently.
