In 2008 Net Profit of VIZ-Stal Exceeded 9 Billion Roubles

All the major financial indicators of OOO VIZ-Stal (part of the NLMK [Novolipetsk Metallurgical Combine] Group) demonstrated growth at the end of 2008. Last year the production volumes grew 10% and amounted to 19.7 billion roubles, RusBusinessNews was informed at the enterprise. The sales amounted to 19.2 billion roubles which is 8% higher than the 2007 figure. VIZ-Stal turnover in 2008 amounted to 19.7 billion roubles (+8%), net profit - 9.4 billion roubles (+7%).

VIZ-Stal is a large producer of cold-rolled electrotechnical and transformer steel. The plant has a capacity to produce more than 200 thousand ton of electrotechnical steel a year. Beginning from 2006 the enterprise joined the NLMK group of companies.
