Hedman Partners lawyers team now has experts in employment law and bankruptcy

The Ekaterinburg office of Hedman Partners, an international law company, is expanding its range of services provided to Russian and foreign clients. Quite recently the lawyers team has acquired experts in employment law and bankruptcy.

The attention to these spheres of law is not accidental. Harry Hedman, a senior partner of the Finnish law company, told RusBusinessNews that the Russian employment law and the practices of its application differ in many ways from employment legal relations in EU countries and seem rather strange to foreign businessmen. Bankruptcy proceedings also occur very often, especially in the conditions of the financial crisis. According to Harry Hedman this sphere requires good competence which is rather rare in Russia.

The next step for the law company in Ekaterinburg will be the provision of legal support in the hi-tech sphere and the development of cooperation between the universities of Ekaterinburg and foreign companies.

"We are planning to continue expanding the number of consultants in most sought for and complex spheres of law. All of us are good lawyers but law is such a broad subject and it is developing so rapidly that nobody can be expert in all its branches. Our key goal is to set the plank at such a level that our clients do not even expect to get", Harry Hedman stressed.
