Accor Group is planning to "stake a claim" for the Tyumen Oblast30.03.2010 — News THE TYUMEN OBLAST A hotel managed by Accor Group, an international hotel operator might open in Tyumen. Claude Crouail, the Consul General of France in Ekaterinburg, told RusBusinessNews about this after the talks with the Tyumen Oblast authorities. The regional government informed RusBusinessNews that ARSIB Holding Group, a Tyumen-based company, signed an agreement with Accor on the construction of a hotel in Tyumen. Should this project come to a successful realisation this hotel will become the second one under Accor management in the Urals region. 11 February 2010 Novotel Yekaterinburg Centre has opened in Ekaterinburg. The construction cost of this hotel was 30 million US dollars. Alexis Delaroff, the Operations Director of Accor Russia and CIS, during his visit to Ekaterinburg said the company jointly with Russian investors is working on the preparation of projects for the construction of Accor brand hotels in Chelyabinsk and Tyumen. Mr Delaroff pointed out that the company is prepared to develop in the Russian hotel market exclusively under own management and not setting up franchises. ARSIB Holding Group is one of the largest holding companies in the Tyumen Oblast. The spheres of the company's activities include retail, construction, agroindustrial production, and development. |
