RF government expanded the road to international markets for VSMPO29.10.2010 — News SVERDLOVSK REGION The VSMPO-Avisma Corporation will be granted blanket licenses to export titanium alloys to other countries. The corporation press-office informed "RusBusinessNews" that the RF Government has given the relevant instructions to the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC). VSMPO-Avisma will have a license valid till May 5, 2013 for exporting titanium alloys in the form of tubes or cylindrical rods with the outer diameter exceeding 75 mm as well as pipes made of titanium or titanium alloys. Previously, the corporation was given one-time licenses effective for one year each time after a contract was signed with a foreign consumer. The products manufactured by VSMPO-Avisma have worldwide reputation thanks to agreements with leading aerospace corporations. Recently, medical titanium produced by the Ural company has also attracted attention of Asian manufacturers. |
